About me

Alejandro Partida is a writer/performer born in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, to a family of flamenco artists. After having moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico, around 2015, Partida studied at the Santa Fe School of Flamenco for 6 years, where he received a dance scholarship. Shortly afterwards, Partida began studying Creative Writing and Literature at the New Mexico School for the Arts in downtown Santa Fe, with a heavy focus on poetry and screenwriting. During his studies, he would be published four times and assist in creating a commemorative memorial forthe department's late creator, Denise Hinson. Additionally, he also assisted with marketing several of the department's extra curricular events.

While studying at the School for the Arts, Partida would also become stage manager and youth liaison for the Spanish Danzart Society and their cabaret near the Plaza in downtown SantaFe, New Mexico. Eventually, these responsibilities increased when Partida became a part of the grant writing team for the organization.

After graduating, he would remain a permanent fixture within the Spanish Danzart Society until the beginning of the 24-25 academic year, where he would begin freshman year ofcollege and take a part-time roll. Currently, he resides between Albuquerque and Santa Fe as he studies Film and Digital Arts at the University of New Mexico in order to become a writer/ director/ cinematographer.
